Wedding of Judit and Krisztián
Judit and Krisztián’s wedding took place on a hot spring day at the Berényi Inn. The grand hall, festively decorated, awaited the young couple and their wedding guests for the reception. The ceremony was held on an island in the outdoor pond. A small wooden bridge led to the island, across which the bride and groom walked, accompanied by their parents, symbolizing that one chapter of their lives had come to a close. Then, after saying “yes I do,” they walked together as a newlywed couple across the small wooden planks, taking their first steps toward their shared future.
A major advantage of the venue is that practically everything is in one place; no time was wasted traveling, and there was countless parking available for the wedding guests. The sun was beating down, and space on the island was a bit tight, but we managed to position both the still camera and the video camera in the right spots at the right times. One of the day’s surprises was that a marriage proposal took place right after the ceremony, and the bouquet toss turned into a bouquet presentation—you can see this in the video as well.
There was no shortage of intimate, emotional moments here either. Next came the congratulations in the grand hall, followed by group photos, and finally a wild party that lasted until dawn. We are very grateful that Krisztián and his family accepted us so warmly, allowing us not only to document this event as mere service providers, but also to blend in a bit and become an integral part of it. This kind of connection is important to us and has a major impact on our work, since—in addition to technical expertise and the use of professional equipment—one of the cornerstones of creating great photos is the relationship with the subject.
